Honyaku Center Inc. will participate in Oxfam Trailwalker Japan 2012!
  Honyaku Center Inc. is pleased to announce entry of two teams in the 6th Oxfam Trailwalker Japan, to be held from May 11th to 13th, 2012.
 
About Oxfam Trailwalker
  Oxfam Trailwalker Japan is a charity fundraising event in which teams of 4 set out to complete a 100km course over challenging mountainous terrain within a 48 hour time limit. Each team must start together, stick together, and go through each check point and cross the finish line together. Over the past 20 years, Oxfam Trailwalker has become a major international fundraising event held in countries all over the world. Trailwalker events have been held in 11 countries: Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, and Canada.
Trailwalker Japan began in 2007, and in 2011 was participated in by 142 teams and raised over 47 million yen for Oxfam charities.
 
About Oxfam
  Oxfam is a development, relief, and campaigning organization working in 98 countries to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice. Funds raised through Trailwalker support Oxfam programs around the world. A portion of funds is also used to support local communities hosting the event.
  As a corporation that believes in promoting international economic and cultural exchange, Honyaku Center Inc. is proud to take part in this world renowned event and help contribute to both local and international communities.

Honyaku Center Group will run a booth at the American Translators Association (ATA) 52nd Annual Conference, to be held in Boston from October 26th until the 29th.
The ATA Conference is an annual event held in the United States and is attended by approximately 1,800 translators from around the world.

Notice of withdrawal from Trailwalker 2011
  Due to circumstances surrounding the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami of March 11th and its aftermath, it is with regret that Honyaku Center announces its withdrawal from Trailwalker 2011.
Although challenges presented by the recent disaster in Japan have forced us to withdraw from this event, Honyaku Center is by no means withdrawing its commitment to corporate social responsibility initiatives and looks forward to future opportunities to promote international cooperation and exchange.

Honyaku Center Inc. becomes the first translation company listed on OSE "Hercules"
  We are pleased to announce that on April 28th 2006, Honyaku Center Inc. became the first company specializing in translation to be listed on the Osaka Securities Exchange Nippon New Market "Hercules" Standard Index.
We wish to sincerely extend our gratitude for the warm support and patronage we have received over the years. On this occasion we will refocus on our goals to further develop our company and the industry as a whole, while fulfilling our social responsibilities as a corporate citizen.
