  You can take advantage of our Translation Trial (free trial translation) service for first time, high volume and continuing orders.
Because you can verify the quality of our translation beforehand, you can feel safe placing an order with us.
With this service, we will translate an excerpt from your original document or another piece of text of your choosing,
130 English words or one sheet of Japanese manuscript.
You can also request Translation Trials from multiple translators and choose the translator you prefer.

What languages do you translate?
  We handle a wide variety of languages, from Western languages including English, French, German and Spanish, to Asian languages including Chinese and Korean. By enlisting translation firms and translators from around the globe, we can offer the highest quality translation. Click here for more languages.
   
 
How many days does translation require?
  We will accommodate your needs to the best of our abilities, so please feel free to request a deadline. However, please note that initial preparation and final delivery procedures require one additional day each.
For translation to and from languages other than English, please contact our Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya office.

Do you accept rush orders?
  Yes, we will accommodate your needs to the best of our abilities.
   
 
What happens if I no longer need the translation I have ordered?
  If you cancel an order that you have already placed, we will charge 10% of the estimated total as a preparation and administration fee.
If we have already begun work on the translation at the time of your cancellation request, we will charge the standard rate for the completed work at that point in addition to the preparation and administration fee.
If you need to cancel an order, please contact your sales representative or the coordinator as soon as possible.

Why is the number of pages indicated in my bill different from the number of pages I actually received?
  The number of words per page can vary depending on the software settings for fonts, characters and lines.  Also, pages with large amounts of text contain more words and require more translation work, while pages with diagrams contain fewer words and require less translation work. Therefore, the actual number of pages delivered will not necessarily be equal to the number of pages billed. Billed page numbers are calculated based on the amount of translation, and may differ from the actual number of pages delivered.
   
 
Can I specify the software format for the translation output?
  We handle most common software applications. We have operators on staff who are experienced in a wide variety of software.
Compatible software include:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Please contact us for other applications.
We also handle various Macintosh applications.

Can you create charts or scan documents? What are the charges?
  We can accommodate requests, and we take as much pride in the appearance of the finished products as we do in our translations. We deliver ready-to-use finished documents with the layouts that you specify, so that they do not require any additional work from you.
Complex layouts, chart creation, diagram creation and formula settings incur additional fees.
Although unformatted documents are cheaper since they require only the basic translation fee, with the complexity, time and trouble that layout work requires, we recommend letting us take care of the final output as well.
However, we do accept unformatted translation requests, for cases where you simply need to understand the contents.
Please let us know beforehand whether you require layout work so that we can include it in our estimate.

What should I keep in mind when I request a translation?
  We prefer to receive the original material in electronic data from rather than as a hard copy.
If you specify the objective of the translation, we can tailor the output to your needs.
Please let us know of any formatting or font requests beforehand.
Please specify your preferred delivery methods beforehand (i.e. by email, hand delivery etc).
Any specified terminology, glossary of terms, or reference material that you can provide would be useful.
