Journal Article/Abstract Translation to English |

Translation into English is conducted by Japanese translators with mastery of English and specialized knowledge in medicine and pharmacy.
Please contact us for specific rates.
Standard turnaround time is 7 to 10 days for an article and 3 days for an abstract.
Please send the manuscript to our Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya office (by email, fax or post) and we will contact you with a price and turnaround time estimate. You may also use our on-line Estimate Request Form.
While we can offer partial translation with only the summary or the discussion, we ask that you please submit the entire article as well.
To maintain translation quality, we require a full understanding of the article and related technical terms and phrases. For this purpose we may request additional supporting reference documents.
We are able to prepare summaries kept under a certain length, however if the original article is especially long, we may ask you to edit the article so as to best honor the original author's intent.
We will adhere to any submission specifications you require, within reasonable parameters based on the original document. |

Because revisions are made directly onto the data files, please send files as email attachments. Some applications can track and display changes for your reference.
If articles are sent by fax or as a hard copy, revisions will be made directly on the hard copy.
To maintain consistency and quality, we recommend conducting a check on the entire article. We can provide partial checks, but we ask that you provide the entire article and clearly mark the areas that require proofreading.
We will revise based on your specifications, provided that the original article is reasonably within the requirements. |

Medical Record Translation |

Medical record translation is conducted by specialized medical record translators or physicians contracted to us.
Rates and turnaround time vary based on volume and content, but standard turnaround time is 10 to 20 days. Please contact our Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya office for an indication of cost and delivery time.
Because we edit directly on to the records, please send clear, full-scale copies and not original documents.
We will provide an offer on cost and delivery time after examining the copy. |
